Cheesy Garlic Bread

1 medium loaf French bread,unsliced.
1/2 c butter or margarine,softened
2 cloves garlic, halved (may substitute garlic powder or garlic salt)
1/3 grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat oven at 375F. Cut into slices down the lengthe of bread loaf at 1-inch intervals, without cutting all the way through. Combine butter,garlicand Parmesan in a small bowl. Spread butter mixture between bread slices and on top of loaf. Wrap bread in foil, leaving top partially uncovered. Bake until heated through, about 15 minutes.

Chicken Fingers with Honey Mustard

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts
1 c all-purpose flour
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
¾ c milk
1 c vegetable oil for frying

HONEY MUSTARD
½ c honey
¼ c Dijon mustard

Prepare the honey mustsard 1 or 2 days ahead of time so the flavors have time to blend.

Cut chicken into ½ x 2 inch strips. For honey mustard sauce, blend honey and mustard in a small bowl. Set aside. Mix flour,salt,and pepper in a shallow bowl. Dip chicken in milk. Roll in flour mixture to coat well. Place chicken on waxed paper.

Pour 1/4 inch of oil into a large heavy skillet. Heat over medium-high heat to 350F or until a cube of white bread dropped into oil browns evenly in 1 minute. Divide chicken into batches. Place chicken in an even layer in hot oil. Fry, turning once, for about 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels. Serve with Sauce.

Crabmeat Dip

1pkg crab cuts, chopped in fine pieces
1pkg cream cheese
cocktail sauce

Mix crab&cheese, spread in a thick layer on a dish, top with sauce. Chill and serve with crackers.

Fruit Dairy Dip

1 8oz pkg cream cheese
1/2 c sour cream
1/4 c sugar
1/4 c packed brown sugar
1-2 tbsp maple syrup(pancake syrup)

In small mixing bowl. combine cream cheese,sour cream,sugars and syrup to taste. Beat until smooth,chill. Serve with fresh fruit.

Layered Taco dip

1lb hamburger
1sm can refried beans
1pkg taco seasoning mix
1pint sour cream
1pkg shredded chedder

Brown hamburger,drain and add taco seasoning mix. Layer in pan starting with beans, then add hamburger. Heat these two ingredients until warm in 350F oven about 15 min.
Then add the layer of sour cream. Top with chedder and place in oven until cheese is melted. Serve with taco chips.

Potato Balls

Mashed potatoes
cubed cheese
Parmesan cheese or crumbs

Form balls with mashed potatoes over cubed cheese. Roll in parmesan cheese or crumbs and broil in oven until golden brown.Great to use with left over mashed potatoes.

Taco Layer Dip

2 cans bean dip
1 80z sour cream
1/2 c mayo
1pkg taco seasoning
1c chopped green onions
1/2 head shredded lettuce
1 chopped tomato
2c shredded cheddar cheese
1can sliced black olive (optional)

Mix sour cream,mayo and taco seasoning together. On platter, layer each in order above. Chill and serve with taco chips.
